“Why won't you just go to him and tell him your feelings, (name)?”
“Liz!” the (h/c) haired, (e/c) eyed girl exclaimed, looking at her Hungarian friend with wide eyes. “I can't!”
While the Hungarian girl noticed her friend's crush, Arthur Kirkland standing near, the shy girl didn't.
“He won't kill you!”
“But I am too embarrassed! What if-”
“No, what if's, (name)!” her brunette friend reprimanded. “You even wrote a song about him, didn't you?”
“... how do you know?”
Elizabeta grinned smugly.
Arthur all the while 'accidentally' eavesdropped on their conversation. He had a major crush on the shy (name) and couldn't help himself but try and be near her whenever he could. Just as now, standing in the park of the hotel where most countries where currently staying because of the conference. And that they were speaking of (name)'s crush did not help his curiosity in the least, it only made him jealous and even more curious.
“I heard you practice it. I didn't know that you loved him that much though!”
“Liz, please. I- I just can't tell him. I would faint before I could.” (name) admitted with a major blush.
“Why then not tell him through this song?”
“What?”
“Come on, I know you can! You practiced it, you wrote it, and you are far more confident when playing an instrument and singing!”
“No....”
Elizabeta sighed and rolled her eyes. “Then at least let me hear it, alright?”
“Okay... At the roof terrace in 10 minutes?” she reluctantly agreed.
“Sure. Go get your guitar, girl!”
The Hungarian's friend sighed and smiled, before turning around to get to her room and get her acoustic guitar.
Arthur noticed that the brunette Hungarian was planning something and wanted to turn around and go, trying to decide if he should try and 'coincidentally' appear at the roof terrace when she was playing.
But Elizabeta suddenly stood in front of him, a smug grin on her lips.
“Arthur! I wanted to talk to you.”
“What is it?”
“How about you join me for a walk?”
“If you want to....” Arthur was a bit reluctant to talk to the grinning girl.
“Hm, can I be blunt, Arthur?”
“Depending on the subject.”
“Okay. You are in love with (name), right?”
He spluttered and came to a halt. They were standing in the foyer of the hotel now.
“Pardon me?”
“So you are. Good. Come with me.” she dragged him to the elevators and into one.
He was still trying to find his voice and composure, when she pushed the button for the roof.
When they reached the roof and the elevator doors opened, Elizabeta dragged him out.
She looked around before pulling him to a niche at the roof terrace.
“Stay here. And just to tell you: (name) loves you too.”
Arthur nearly choked and looked after the Hungarian with wide eyes. Was she messing with him? Anyway, she had put him in a spot where he could listen to the song without being seen.
“Liz?”
“I'm here.” the brunette waved to the (h/c) haired girl and smiled. “Come, sit here.”
Arthur's crush cleared her throat before she played a few accords on her guitar and began singing.
I'm tugging out my hair
I'm pulling at my clothes
I'm trying to keep my cool
I know it shows
I'm staring at my feet
My checks are turning red
I'm searching for the words inside my head
(And) I'm feeling nervous
Trying to be so perfect
Cause I know you're worth it
You're worth this
Yeah
If I could say what I want to say
I'd say I wanna blow you - away
Be with you every night
Am I squeezing you too tight
If I could say what I want to see
I want to see you go down
On one knee
Marry me today
Guess I'm pushing my life away
With these things I'll never say
It don't do me any good
It's just a waste of time
What use is it to you
What's on my mind
If ain't coming out
We're not going anywhere
So why can't I just tell you that I care
(Cause) I'm feeling nervous
Trying to be so perfect
Cause I know you're worth it
You're worth it
Yeah
If I could say what I want to say
I'd say I wanna blow you - away
Be with you every night
Am I squeezing you too tight
If I could say what I want to see
I want to see you go down
On one knee
Marry me today
Guess I'm pushing my life away
With these things I'll never say
What's wrong with my tongue
These words keep slipping away
I stutter, I stumble
Like I've got nothing to say
(Cause) I'm feeling nervous
Trying to be so perfect
Cause I know you're worth it
You're worth it
Yeah
Guess I'm pushing my life away with these things I'll never say
If I could say what I want to say
I'd say I wanna blow you - away
Be with you every night
Am I squeezing you too tight
If I could say what I want to see
I want to see you go down
On one knee
Marry me today
Yes, I'm pushing my life away
With these things I'll never say
These things I'll never say
Elizabeta clapped and smiled.
(name) breathed out and smiled too, though she felt a bit insecure.
“Arthur would totally love this!”
“Liz!” she exclaimed, “I won't play it in front of him! That's like- like- confessing my feelings with a megaphone!”
“Then you just did, sweetie!” her friend exclaimed grinning like the Cheshire cat.
Arthur came out of the niche, a small blush on his cheeks and (name) blushed a bright red.
Elizabeta just jumped up with a smirk and ran away.
“So, (name)....” Arthur began, after clearing his throat awkwardly.
She looked away, desperately wanting to disappear. Why wasn't he saying anything?!
“I promise to propose to you someday, but I'd rather go a bit slower. How about we start as boy- and girlfriend, love?”
She stood up, guitar in one hand, still not looking at the Brit. But she took his hand and nodded. “I'd love that.”

“Score!” Elizabeta cheered from further away. “I knew it would work!”
“Zhen you now have more time for zhe awesome me!” Gilbert suddenly appeared behind her, but was knocked unconscious by a frying pan not a second later.

I would probably push Elizabeta of the roof or something if I was in that story, a person that embraces me must be eliminated!
